It was July 2008...

and I wanted to turn my passion for photography into a career. I couldn't decide if I should identify my brand new business with my maiden name, or my secret-soon-to-be-married name.

(It's true, my husband and I secretly eloped after only dating for 3 months. It was the craziest, and best thing I've ever done. And it was only the beginning of this wild ride!)

Needless to say, I went with the married name. Since then, we've added three blonde-headed, blue-eyed, super silly boys to our world and this business has grown right alongside of us all. As a creative, I enjoy getting to know my clients, designing new custom sets for client's portraits, and finding the beauty in spaces people may not usually label as "pretty."

When I am not working you can find me with my boys; going for runs, eating at Chipotle, or getting lost in Target. I've also been known to watch a reality show or two. (I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead, even though it gave me nightmares when I first started watching it!)

I've been photographing weddings, capturing families, and serving other area businesses in the Richmond, VA area for almost 9 years! My natural light studio is located in Chester, VA.
